Guys, I admit it! I’ve been feeling a little less than enthusiastic about my kitchen these days, and I am CONVINCED that my cabinets are to blame! We haven’t updated our cabinetry since we moved in, and I am so thirsty for a remodel. However, I know all too well how expensive custom cabinetry is, and I don’t exactly have that kind of budget. My solution? A coat of paint!

Over at Carl Aaston they took a gigantic leap of faith and painted their cabinets a funky color. The teal painted cabinets instantly infuse this kitchen with a much needed dash of color. But aside from the stellar paint job, can we take a look at the DESIGN of these cabinets? It’s even more beautiful than the paint color!

Nothing says “good morning” like bright yellow cabinets! Paint yours this welcoming shade, and greet your kids with that fabulous “Good Morning!” song. I’m sure they’ll love it…Idea from Grants Painting. 

Most people underestimate the amount of time it takes to make your painted cabinets look amazing. This project takes at least 4 days! Make sure you allow yourself enough time to complete your project. On a side note, there must be something with me and blue cabinetry because I am absolutely in love!
