I love clothes! And it seems like I always want more. But I’ve been trying to be more economical and ecofriendly with my clothes cravings lately, and I’ve found there are some awesome ideas on how to restyle your clothes! I’ve compiled some of my favorite re-styling ideas from around the web–take a look!

1. Love Maegan posted a tutorial for refashioning a simple tank top by adding lace sleeves. I love this look so much–fresh, summery, so lovely. And it’s pretty simple to make! Believe me, you’ve got to try this DIY project. It’s just in time for summer!
2. Our Life is Beautiful posted a tutorial for this darling skirt that is made out of a long sleeve shirt! I could hardly believe it but it’s totally true. And you don’t even need to sew for this one. It just takes some creative bow tying!
3. Clothed Much posted a tutorial for this beautiful dress which is made out of thrifted polo shirts! I love how the different colored shirts combined into the cutest summery dress. You can create any combo you like. You can even use old shirts you’ve got in your closet! This is one of my favorite ideas on how to restyle your clothes.
4. Cut Out + Keep posted a tutorial for this adorable dress that’s made out of an oversized t-shirt! Big t-shirts are so frumpy, but this dress is anything but! It’s amazing what adding a waist can do. I think this would make a great beach cover-up. I’ve got to try it!
5. I Am Momma Hear Me Roar posted a tutorial for refashioning pullovers into cardigans. With just a little bit of sewing and some adorable buttons, you can re-style your old sweaters into something new and fashionable. This is especially useful if you’ve outgrown your favorite sweaters and want to still wear them!

7. The Time in Between posted a tutorial for making a dress bigger. By adding panels on the sides, you can refashion any dress to fit you no matter what! I’m always so disappointed when I grow out of something that I loved, now I don’t have to be! You’ve got to try this!
8. Love Maegan posted a tutorial for adding lovely pearl to the color of a simple white t-shirt. This accent really helps dress up an otherwise boring wardrobe staple. And you could really do this to any piece of clothing! A dress, sweater, skirt, etc. The sky is the limit!

This DIY project instantly dresses up your boring shirt. You’ll want to make a bunch of these–try lots of different colors & patterns!

With just a few seams and strategic gathering, you’ll have a fashionable new top in no time at all. I’ve really got to try this one–love it!
