DIY Deet Free Insect Repellent

Summer is a whole lot more fun when you aren’t covered in mosquito bites–or a fine layer of deet! Regardless of if there is any REAL danger of using bug sprays with deet, I would rather not put all of those nasty chemicals on mine or my kids’ bodies! Deet is known to cause extremely severe skin reactions, and both myself and my kids have incredibly sensitive skin as it is. I scoured the internet for a better solution, and I found one: essential oils! These DIY deet free insect repellents are my favorite, and because they all use essential oils, they smell incredible while fighting insects!
